My name is Afri
Growing up near the beach and watching friends surf, inspired me to start surfing myself. I started as a teenager and haven’t looked back. Taking lessons from friends and professional coaches, the waves became my passion.
I later learnt to be a professional surf coach myself and have taught many people to surf in both Weligama and my home village of Arugam Bay. I have now taught for over three years.
As surfing has been such a big part of my life, I decided to start my own Surf Camp, with lifetime friend Hubi, in 2020. Now, together with Ali, we believe we can offer you the best surf camp experience in Arugam Bay.
We are working together with Surf Access Guest House and Hostel, where as a team we endeavour to cover all your needs, to provide a great experience.
